Globoplay is a streaming platform with a vast catalog of series, movies, soap operas, documentaries, and many other original and exclusive productions. One of its standout features is its ability to captivate its demanding audience through creative and immersive experiences.

02. Challenge

1. Engage the audience with immersive landing pages.
2. Create experiences that increased user interaction on the platform, sparking interest in watching content from the catalog, especially Manifest: The Mystery of Flight 828, The Big Bang Theory, Doctor Who, and Desalma.

03. Solutions

Manifest: Boarding the Mystery: We simulated a check-in card for Flight 828, the central mystery of the series. Users were invited to confirm their boarding, followed by a brief synopsis that sparked curiosity: What happened to Flight 828? The landing page was aimed at users who had already started watching the series, encouraging them to continue.

The Big Bang Theory and Doctor Who: For The Big Bang Theory, we recreated Sheldon’s living room where fans could test their knowledge of the show. For Doctor Who, we developed a quiz where fans had to figure out where the doctors had gotten lost in time.

Desalma: Drawing inspiration from the show’s theme, we launched a tarot reading experience with fully personalized cards. Users could choose topics like Family, Love, Spiritual, Advice, Financial, or Professional. In addition to the tarot reading, a series recommendation was also provided based on user choices.

Deu Match: Engaging the Audience: We developed two landing pages focused on increasing engagement. The first, What to Watch Now?, was inspired by dating apps and encouraged users to explore new content. The second, Always Celebrating!, was updated monthly with a special video about the current zodiac sign and thematic content suggestions.

04. Results

The landing pages successfully captivated users, increasing interaction rates and generating a significant buzz around the platform’s content, as evidenced by the following figures:

  1. Manifest:
    95.5% of visitors completed the check-in, and 16.2% shared the action on Facebook.

  2. The Big Bang Theory:
    Over 90% of visitors participated in the interaction.

  3. Doctor Who:
    83.4% of users were engaged with the action.

  4. Desalma:
    In just one month, more than 17,000 visits and over 70% engagement with the tarot game.

  5. What to Watch Now?:
    84% of users who visited the page started the quiz.

  6. Always Celebrating!:
    In one year, 130,000 users explored the feature, with a record of 25,000 in June 2019.
